The Toshiba American Foundation
Toshiba grants focus on teaching science and mathematics.  Applicants must obtain guidelines from the foundation before applying.

National Foundation for the Improvement of Education
Provides funding for professional development opportunities for public school teachers.  Grants range from $1000 to $3000.  Each grant is funded for a 12 month period.  www.nfie.org

Learn and Serve America
Learn and serve supports projects that engage youth in addressing human need issues and volunteer opportunities.  Grants range from $5000- $16000.  Workshops available.  Call  225-342-2038 or visit www.crt.state.la.us/laserve.

Entergy
Up to $1000 available.  Matching funds are required.  Applications can be obtained by calling Entergy Customer relations at 225-763-5226 or by visiting www.entergy.com.
