ExxonMobil Science
In partnership with ExxonMobil, ADF and the East Baton Rouge Parish Department of Curriculum and Instruction offer professional development for teachers of the physical sciences. In 2005-2006, a cohort of 15 high school teachers attended three days of training and workshops to enhance instruction in physics. In 2006-2007, the cohort of high school teachers will train and co-teach with a cohort of 6th grade teachers of the physical sciences. ADF, EBR, and ExxonMobil seek to establish professional development and support for science teachers at all instructional levels. This year's program will be completed by April, 2007.
