Now in it's ninth year, ADF's Score One for Our Kids annual fundraiser presented by Capital One Bank will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m.  New this year, Score One for Our Kids will be held at the Louisiana State Museum, a unique cultural and educational venue in the shadow of the State Capitol in downtown Baton Rouge.

Attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception with delicious food donated by Ruffino's Restaurant plus an open bar.  With the price of a $50 ticket, attendees can enter to win exciting raffle packages including tickets to the 2009 Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia plus fine jewelry donated by Lee Michaels Jewelry.  Attendees also will bid on one-of-a-kind silent and live auction items.

Several community-minded corporate partners including Amedisys, Baton Rouge Coca-Cola Bottling Company and the Boo Grigsby Foundation have joined the Score One team.  In kind donors include STUN! Graphic Design and Mockler Beverage-Budweiser.

The real winners in this effort are the children in East Baton Rouge Parish because proceeds from this event help ADF engage community leadership and resources to advance public education in our community.
