Better Teachers. Better Students. It's that simple.  Teachers are the cornerstone of our education system. That's why ADF strives to create initiatives and programs that make teachers stronger, more effective and better communicators with students and their peers. 

Grants
We have been assisting teachers with grants since our inception. In fact, this year we were proud to provide grants in excess of $80,000 to over three hundred teachers ultimately affecting more than 10,000 kids. However, this year, we ramped up program effectiveness from two perspectives. First, the amount of the grants was increased to $2,000.  Second, since research has shown that teachers are more effective when teaching in teams and collaborating outside the classroom, we required both a professional development and collaboration component to receive grants at these higher levels. Overall, this has led to significant improvement in teamwork among educators.
